As you may already know, on May 25, 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation came into force.
This is a European regulation – Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, which establishes the rules that companies operating in European Union countries must respect and comply with regarding the collection and processing of personal data, that is, all information that allows the identification, directly or indirectly, of an individual. Such as name, citizen card number, email, contact, address, etc.
The purpose of this communication is to inform you of the new rules applicable to the processing of your personal data, your rights, as well as informing you of how you can manage, directly and in a simple way, the respective consents.
Your data will be processed by ENCKE – Engineering & Consulting, legal entity number 515791121, with headquarters at Rua de Brito Capelo, nº 178 4450-065 Matosinhos and the email address info@enckeconsulting.com is the address of the Data Protection Officer. This company is responsible for the processing of personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation.
ENCKE – Engineering & Consulting will retain your personal data for the period necessary to provide services, billing and comply with legal obligations.
At any time, you have the right to access your personal data, as well as, within the limits of the contract and the Regulation, to change them, oppose their processing, decide on the automated processing of them, withdraw consent and exercise other rights provided for by law (except for data that are essential for the provision of services by ENCKE – Engineering & Consulting, therefore mandatory provision, or for the fulfillment of legal obligations to which ENCKE – Engineering & Consulting is subject). If you withdraw your consent, this does not compromise the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that date. You have the right to be notified, under the terms set out in the Regulation, if a breach of your personal data occurs, and you may lodge complaints with the authority(ies).
